Happy Valentines Day everyone!  Day 45!  Exodus 14 and Matthew 15:1-20!

Ok, so its Valentines Day – its all about love.  So, where’s the love in God crushing the army of Egypt?  Actually, God is showing a great deal of love for His people.  Yeah, but what if you are on the Egyptians side?  Doesn’t look so good there, does it?  Not really.  But that’s the point: you wanna be on Gods side.  God is the one who is in control – He wins – get it?

Hey it’s day #33 – Give it up for Genesis 47 and Matthew 12:15-21!

There is some serious lifesaving going on in Genesis 47!  Look at what God is doing through this Joseph guy!  Joseph always seems to be in a position where he can help and even help save other people.  It’s like Joseph is so focused on doing the right thing all of the time.  He is one of those rare people that we run into in the Bible (or outside of it) that have this kind of integrity.  Even when faced with overwhelming adversity, he does what is right!  Maybe his life is getting us ready for the life that Christ will lead – perfectly, of course.  I think the connection is Gods intention and I pray that it leads us to further appreciate the gift of Jesus!

Mid week – oh yeah!!!!!!  2 Kings 7, 1 Timothy 4, Daniel 11, and Psalm 55!

Psalm 55:16 -  ”As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me.”  How about you?  How about me?  Can we call upon Lord, knowing that He will save us – knowing that in Jesus He had saved us?  Yes we can call upon Him.  What needs to happen for that to become reality?  Lets talk!

Paul prays. Paul encourages others to pray.  Seems like a no brainer but its so important.  Prayer is so essential and Paul gives us something great to pray about.  Pray that Gods Words is preached with clarity.  Pray that preachers will have courage and that all would respond to Gods Word.  So pray!

It is a great weekend for Bible Reading!  2 Samuel 13, 2 Corinthians 6, Ezekiel 20, and John 21.

How much does God love us?  How faithful is He to us?  What if we betrayed Jesus?  What about then?  Just ask Peter.  He betrayed Jesus – denied that He even knew Him!

You would think that Jesus would write Peter off and look for someone else to get His church rolling.  Jesus forgives Him and reinstates Peter, that’s what Jesus did.  So what about us?  Can God use me?  How about you?  I know that He can use all of us to bring His message to the world.  So what does God have is store for you?
