Christmas is in three months – so get reading! 2 Samuel 21, Galatians 1, Ezekiel 28, and Psalm 13-14.

Oh yeah! St Paul is in the house!  Ok, enough of that!  Down to business!  Paul really drops the gloves and comes out swinging in Galatians.  You see, Paul will let someone questioning his credentials or motives slide.  Yet he pulls no punches when dealing with those who would try and preach a Gospel different from the true Gospel.  Jesus died to give us life.  In Him we have forgiveness and eternal life.  We add nothing to that – He saved us!  The Gospel gives us true freedom.  Legalism and rules put us back into prison.  Go with the Gospel and accept no substitutes!

Apr 26

Fire up that bible app and let’s go! Numbers 3, Psalm 37, Song of Solomon 1, and Hebrews 1!

Hebrews 1 puts it this way: In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. I think this means that Jesus IS the story – we are not! He made everything and Jesus is the way that God came and saved us! So if we are talking salvation or what God is like – look to Jesus. He is the deal! Any questions?
