Monday Monday! New readings – fresh and everything! Exodus 32, John 11, Proverbs 8, and Ephesians 1!

How sure are you that you are saved? Pretty sure? Relatively sure? Almost sure? How can you know for sure? Paul gives is the answer and its not what you think. Normally, we tend to think our certainty of Gods love comes from our performance. No way! It is a gift! Not like a gift that the guy on the phone wants you to make to the college you went to. No this one is free and clear. Jesus died and rose to forgive us and give us eternal life. Paul says that has been locked in- long before you or I could mess it up. That is pretty certain – take it to the bank certain. Check it out in the Ephesians readings today.

It might be the middle of March Madness – but huddles are good anytime. So lets go – huddle up! What’s the play? You know, the play? What’s the point of all this reading? Is it to check something off the list? I believe that we read the scriptures because they give us life and love – they inform us of who we are. Maybe you spent some time at a church this morning – maybe not. If you did, I hope the Word of God gave you the truth you need to live for God. If you didn’t make it to church, find a place that proclaims the truth about Jesus and put it on the schedule to visit next week. We need other people and church is a chance to get with other people and hear about Jesus. That sounds like an awesome huddle!
